Valley Electric is a member-owned, nonprofit electric utility headquartered in Pahrump, NV. Valley was founded in 1965 by four earlier cooperatives: the Amargosa Valley Cooperative, The Beatty Utility Company, the Pahrump Utility Company, and White Mountain Electric Cooperative. Valley’s service territory includes more than 6,800 square miles in Nevada and California, spanning through several counties.
