13 vehicles, two trailers to be sold

PAHRUMP, Nev.  – Valley Electric members will have the opportunity to bid on used fleet vehicles at the Cooperative’s annual meeting in April.

Thirteen vehicles and two trailers will be auctioned to the highest bidders at the April 27 meeting at Pahrump Valley High School.

“We have too many vehicles in our fleet, so it’s time to move them out,” said Interim Chief Executive Dick Peck. “If a member needs a vehicle like one of the ones we have, this will be a good opportunity to get one at a good price.”

Some of the vehicles have quite a few years and miles on them, but they have been well maintained, said Jason Simpson, Fleet Services Superintendent.

There will be no reserve bid, so the highest bid will get the vehicle or trailer, said Peck. Any member interested in bidding should bring a letter of credit to the meeting.
