Bruce Holden comes to Valley with a wealth of experience in several types of leadership roles. He is a retired senior environmental engineer for the Department of the Navy, where he worked on numerous projects for 37 years until his retirement in 2015. Bruce has also served for 2 years as a president of an HOA in California where he led the board meetings, established the association budget, and resolved architectural approval disputes among other duties.
Along with his experience, Bruce also brings to the board a wealth of knowledge. He has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and in Business Administration. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Newly elected, Bruce takes his seat after the Co-op’s Annual Meeting on June 17, 2022, and is eager to make positive changes and contribute to the board meetings. Bruce said, “I truly understand the significant issues facing VEA and can make a positive contribution.” After June, Bruce will be representing South Pahrump and is working to better our Co-op.
There are priorities that the board should seek to improve. “My two primary objectives are to improve transparency and VEA’s financial position,” Bruce stated. Valley looks forward to his individual contributions.
